AJC
any advantages in doing this? pros and cons? or am i just as well to go and get the wheel spacers. i have +5 dure blue spacers for the rear. and there pricey so i was thinking on turning the front rims inside out and polishing them up. Found a post about this.. no need to reply. Edited December 9, 2007 by AJC
nunyabinness
pro's your front end sits 1 inch wider on each side. cons it's harder on your ball joints, i've never had a problem though. you also have to do something about your stems or they will hit your brake calipers. i say go for it. jbooker82
I had them fliped on my raptor and noticed it was way harder to steer and had bump steer. On my banshee they are not filiped but douglass wheels that are off set that way and they steer like a dream with no bump steer. Maybe the banshee's suspension is different. I would say go for it. If you get a flush mount valve stem kit and put those in then you wont have to drill new valve stem holes.
400rednEX
i have the wider offset douglas ones and i hated them in the sand. they had bump steer and the wheels would lock if you turned too far. i flipped them to the stock offset and they're way better. ClimbAnyHill
I love the offset on the trails & run regular in the dunes. Punch that throttle, makes the riding smoother.. Go for it, flip em!
