Banshee Chad Posted December 2, 2007 Report Posted December 2, 2007 man, the quarterincher from PRM-atv is the most bullet proof. thickest one i could find. Never heard of the extreme fabrication one. Quote
2strokespirit Posted December 2, 2007 Report Posted December 2, 2007 I've got a set of their nerve bars and hates them!! Bolting them on and they stand like 25 degrees up in the air, because the mounting brackets should have been lower. Its almost higher than the foot pegs so your feet don't touch the spikes of your peg and slip of all the time. I made a custom bracket for them just to lower them, now they are ok. I know its not skid plate, but thought I give some info of their products. Quote
Ruko Posted December 2, 2007 Report Posted December 2, 2007 whats up everyone.my bro needs a new rear skid plate and i was wondering if anyone knows anything about extreme fabrication skid plates? any advice is apreciated thanks I have a gas rack from them... it bent after the first ride. I called and told him and he sent some extra supports to put on it and payed to have them welded on. Said he was going to add them to all the racks after that. Product was so-so, but the service was great. He was very quick to get it fixed up for me. Sorry but I couldn't tell ya about the skid plates. Quote
peterlocal22 Posted December 2, 2007 Author Report Posted December 2, 2007 thanks for the heads up. i think ill tell im tom just buy a prm skidplate. you get what you pay! Quote
differentstrokes Posted December 2, 2007 Report Posted December 2, 2007 I ran the XFR swingarm skid. The fit was good and the welds looked nice, but the aluminum could have been a little thicker. I had to knock a few bends out where the sprocket and rotor guards are, but where I ride is pretty rocky too. I haven't heard any complaints about PRM, they sound like a solid product. I'm currently running an Armadillo swinger skid on my 250r and it's pretty solid. JMO Quote
