abob Posted December 1, 2007 Report Posted December 1, 2007 Hi All, Got a Cub set up... 69 bore / 58 stroke(plus 4) stage IV head. This is all new to me as i have been running stock engine so far. i ordered a set of 33 Keihins as i was looking for power on the mid range but instead i got a set of 35's. Was told 35's are more tunable. I' m sure u guys on this forum have much more experince. All advice appreciated. THanks! Quote

locogato11283 Posted December 1, 2007 Report Posted December 1, 2007 35's for sure. you sure its a 69mm bore? Quote
flotek Posted December 2, 2007 Report Posted December 2, 2007 they are both easy to tune ..the dual 35 mm carbs is the minimum on cubs but your bore diameter doesnt make sense ,what exactly do yo uhave ? sure its a cheetah cub ? Quote
peterlocal22 Posted December 2, 2007 Report Posted December 2, 2007 i have a 35 mm and love it. go w the the 35 Quote
abob Posted December 2, 2007 Author Report Posted December 2, 2007 Thank you all for the advice, looks like 35's it is. The Cheetah Cubs i got are from TRINITY. I asked for a 68 bore but was told that on that particular day they were out and they had these 69's which had just arrived. Truth be told i would not know the difference and i did not try to measure the bore. Guess the best people to check is with Trinity Racing. Quote
locogato11283 Posted December 2, 2007 Report Posted December 2, 2007 yea just might wanna check your pistons to the bore before you go putting it together. Quote
