imahilljack429 Posted November 7, 2007 Report Posted November 7, 2007 i have an 06 and i shaved the head and advance the time 6 degrees and it ran great. after about 6 hours the left cyclnder stoped fireing. so i changed spark plugs cleaned carbs swaped plug wires checked all elec. connections reeds look good. but whats weird is the cyclnder will die then start up then die and so on. it also will miss and pop out of that side. mods are t3's k&n's outerwears, shaved head adjt. timming plate. any help please.going to glamis for thanksgiving need it to be running cherry thanks Quote
shee rips Posted November 7, 2007 Report Posted November 7, 2007 how much did you get taken off the head? higher compression and +6 timing may have been too much for pump gas. assuming that you run pump gas that is.... Quote

Handyman Posted November 7, 2007 Report Posted November 7, 2007 Here's a link to one of my posts...mine was doing the same thing.....service manager clained it was the imulsion tube inside the slide...that was infront of his mechanics...once away from them he said that after the cylinders were put back on and it ran fine that he has no clue what the hell fixed my problem.....Maybe something here will help you. mY biekwa sin the shop for 3 weeks..worked on every day...paid $100 becasue they bent one of my needles and installed a new jet kit EDIT: make sure the TORS is disconnected.... http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...l=left+cylinder Quote
