Any one got any spit n chicken wire rigs to get ringed pistons into the cylinder?

I use my fingers. its really not that complicated.

its for the most part easy. if its done one cylinder at a time anyone can do it. with the head still bolted on you`ll have to try a little but its simple.

Cubs are a pain too. Just make sure the rings are lined up with the pins and you should be able to get them in the cyl with your fingers.

if stock cyls should be easy use your fingers.. and on stock cyls there is a small bevel on bottom of the sleeves... not sure bout cubs thou.. if you got them..

big fat zip ties. i used them to line up my cheetas.just cut them off when the jugs clear the rings.

Cut up pop can and zip ties. The only trick is you have to move the zip ties down the can with the piston. I usually do this when I am putting together something I don't have a ring compressor for. :geek:
