timing adjustments, help

would i be safe adjusting my timing and how much, here is what i got, 01 shee, .50 over wisecos, 21 cc noss head fmf fattys, k&n no lid, 300 jets, stock carbs. i just run pump gas

yea, its safe. i would go +4 that a good start. i noticed the difference.

It helps quite a bit. Get a plate not a key.

In the long run the plate is better. its a couple more bucks but you dont have to worry about a sheared key and you can advance it more then 4deg if you want.
