Nitmare67 Posted October 23, 2007 Report Share Posted October 23, 2007 Its not your driveshaft. Driveshafts cause vibration not a shaking in the steering wheel. Its the tires. Get the balanced and make sure they are in good shape. Problem will be solved. Like others said make sure there is nothing built up in the rim like mud etc. This will throw them out of balance. This problem is much more common on lifted trucks with bigger tires. Drivelines basically never need replaced unless you drop one. Might need a U joint change once in awhile and yours shouldnt. peterlocal22 Posted October 23, 2007 Author Report Share Posted October 23, 2007 changed out the tires because the old ones were done. new ones were balanced and the ride is much better. however i still feel a slight vibration in the seat but its very small. thanks everyone for your help.
