opt101 Posted October 18, 2007 Report Posted October 18, 2007 Hey guys, I have a air pocket that keeps comming back in my fuel line, any ideas, also I thinks its causing a low end bog Quote
dajogejr Posted October 18, 2007 Report Posted October 18, 2007 Run the bike... If it was air, your bike would have a lean surge, not a bog.... There are a ton of things that can cause a low end bog. Wrong pilot jet/air screw Dirty pilot jet Clogged air filter Old gas/oil Old/fouled spark plugs... Quote

Left Carb is getting good flow, right has the air pocket... could it be float? Quote
edgehanger Posted October 18, 2007 Report Posted October 18, 2007 i have that same problem. i think its due to different things but mainly i think its the way my fuel line curves around the boost bottle that stops any bubbles from traveling up out of the line. lately i been straightening the line till the bubble floats up out of the line then its good for awhile. Could be several things in your case though. maybe a partialy clogged petcock or something Quote

locogato11283 Posted October 19, 2007 Report Posted October 19, 2007 turn the gas off. pull the hose off your right carb. turn gas on. shove hose back on real fast.. ive had air bubbles in mine before that just wont come out. doing the above will fix it. Quote
