I want to built a nice all rounder, I wanne to go the RZ route bur deside to use the banshee motor. I want to built a 4mm long rod with the yamaha cylinders and porting to match the new setup. I will use the 795 wisecos and cool head with 21cc domes on pumpgas. Will this be a nice torque motor, is it worth to go to the stroker for this setup or will a ported stock stroke run ALMOST as strong or not close? What size carbs will fit this setup? I know there wil be a lot of opinions but to the guys that had/has the same setups, give some opinions please. I want to import these goods to SA, who is a good company that I can contact?

Thank you.

I am running a 4mm RZ motor right now. I can say that you will not find a Banshee motor that pulls anything like an RZ motor. It will make nice smooth power, if that's what you are looking for. The stroker definately has more power, not alot but more. The motor that I ran before this was a stock stroke RZ. It is being parted right now if you need any of the parts for the RZ conversion.

I basically built the motor you are talking about. Night and day difference. I would recommend it for a "all-around quad". I run t5 pipes with a dune port to match the pipes and 4mil/5mil long rod. I have 35 pwk's. I was running 30mm oko and i did fine with them, but i make a little more power with the 35's. I didn't lose any low end that i noticed switching from 30 to 35mm carbs. With the t5 pipes, it pulls right out of the hole all the way up top. You can never feel it hit the pipe, nice smooth hard pull all the way through. It made it very rideable in dirt, trails, open fileds, sand, pavement. I love it. Could make more power if a ran a drag port and shears but then i lose a lot of versatility. If you can get a hold of a rz, then you can have more of the best of both worlds, but it can come close with the direction you are going in.
