jayzx10r Posted October 7, 2007 Report Posted October 7, 2007 (edited) I'm in the mood for some new tires and only ride in SoCal Dunes. Primarily for Dragging because I bring a set of Sand Skate IIs to Dune on and just switch them out. I was gonna go with 8 paddle but I thought I'd ask.....What would You Choose?? Mods listed in my sig...running 14/41. I'm like...185lbs nekked. , Jay. Edited October 7, 2007 by jayzx750 Quote
Bansh-eman Posted October 8, 2007 Report Posted October 8, 2007 id look into some 20-10-8 10 paddles or some 20-11-8 10 paddles. haulers of course not extremes Quote
kawiking Posted October 8, 2007 Report Posted October 8, 2007 i like to run a taller tire.... i run a 22-11-8 9 paddle tripple buff Quote
BellicoseBanshee Posted October 9, 2007 Report Posted October 9, 2007 (edited) In your sig, you already have 21X12X8 8 paddle haulers listed (on bike in picture). How well do they work? Seems like the twilight zone, getting new tires that already exist...:ninja:...maybe I am missing something... EDIT: I just read the new replies about the tires you bought from RMATV (messed-up paddle spacing) and figured it out...now I get it...I knew there was something I was missing. Oh well, it has been one of those days! I had to replace my original tires because they had some surface cracks and one started leaking air. I think the previous owner stored them outside and flat, they looked kinda scary. I tried running a tube but had to learn on my own that when you drop pressure to where you want it to be for optimum traction, the tire shifts on the rim...ripping out the valve stem. :: Sweet. Like I said...I'd have used what I had been sold if it weren't for the Tech guy at Skat-Trak informing me that they were waaaaayyy outside of acceptable spec, making them NFG. Quote
