Ok, I have older styled LSR +2+1 Arms, I bought new ball joints, but the threaded part almost seems to short, even with the adjustment on the bottom all the way out, and the top all the way in, the tires have a decent amount of positive(if you look at the bike from the front the bottom of the tires pull in and the top points out. Here's a pic of the balljoints now:

I was wondering if any of you guys had this problem, and I was also wondering if it would be ok to take the nut off of the top balljoint that's clsest to the wheel, and just letteting the taper part sit inside of the arm? I was thinking then that I could just use the bottom one for adjustment. As awlays, thanks guys,

are all four of them the same length? they should be long enough so you can have play in and out to properly set your caster/camber....

if you have your old ones messure them up to the new ones and see how much of a differance there is. i wouldnt want to run one without the jam nut on my bike, im sure you "can" but i wouldnt want to be the guy thats testing it.

I figured that the inside nut should be there, it doesnt seem like it would be that sturdy without it. I looked and the old ball joints I had were the same length. I don't remember the camber being off this much though, it might just be like that because the engine isn't in the bike and the shocks havent compressed all the way, but I would hink there would be a lot of adjustment on them, it seems like maybe 4 or 5 threads at best. ANyone with +2+1 arms have a similar problem?

Man, that's a strange one...I definitely agree about not removing that nut on the top heim.

Have you put a load on the suspension yet, or is that right after you set it on the ground and haven't sat on it, etc?

Are the ball joints the exact same brand, etc as the ones you removed...just new?

Is it the exact same scenario on both sides?

Same on both side, I sat on it, and pushed the bike down in the front, and it helps a little, makes it look close to norma. I ran these arms with basically bown stock schocks before I bought the Elkas for my build. I know the front sat low and thats why I gues I never had any issues.

I was actually hoping to raise the ride height on these Elkas after I get everything in, but I don't want to make the camber any worse. Does anyone know if the ball joints will have different length studs on them? If they do, I'd buy another to 2 to solve my problem. Anyone had this happen before?
