stevo3176
Here is the problem I have rencently had trouble getting the banshee to go into first when i stop. It just won't go into first. Then I'll turn off the engine and it clicks right into first no problem.. Is this a clutch issue or what?
flattrakker
when you come to a stop try letting the clutch out some so it drops into gear, i have to be rolling to drop through all the gears.. let me know if it works.
Snopczynski
have you been stomping on the shifter? Is the clutch free play the proper distance? Is the clutch arrows lined up? What trans oil do you use? How often do you change it?

Snopczynski
Did you put the magura on? Is it one of the older ones or a newer one?
stevo3176
Did you put the magura on? Is it one of the older ones or a newer one? I'm pretty sure its an older one cause it sounds like it is leaking when I press on it. It moves the clutch arm fine and it doen't leak too much fluid from what I see but it hisses. Snopczynski
If its an older one get rid of it, the arm travel on them is not long enough to fully disengage the clutch. Same issue we had with the one on the drag bike.

Same issue we had with the one on the drag bike. Could that be the reason it doesn want to go into first. As a matter of fact now that I think about it the bike does lurch a bit forward when you first put it in gear. The tires will also move if its on blocks and in gear. Snopczynski
probably, also check the case arrow alignment when you put the cable and perch back on.
