ok so what should I do if the bar that my steering stem bolts to is bent from my bone breaking event..should i try to bend it back or should I go ahead and get a new frame?? Also What are some nice front bumpers that I should look at getting since mine is no longer any good.

i would try and bend it back first and if that doesnt work then you know youll have to get a new frame and i always ris designs bumpers or found a new company called cutting edge creations, they have some nice ones.

Yeah, I'd say try bending it back... As for the bumper... It's all in what you like... I like the look of the Duncan, or Tag... That's just me though!

The frame is tweaked....the bar that the steering stem bolts to is bent back maybe an inch and the fender mount bolt on the left side by the headlight is like a half of a hole off.....I think the whole front is bent to the left just a little. I can't do anything about it now since my collar bone is broken but once I get all healed up I can take a better look at it. Any key points or areas that i need to look at? once again thanks for the help

Im sure it could be bent back pretty easy. Try lookin out for a cheap damaged frame, maybe you could cut the part of it and weld it on yours.

As far as bumpers, Im like the IMS, and tag bumpers the most.

try taking it to a shop. some machine shop can straighten them back out. just keep in mind it weakens the metal so the next time you wrap a tree its going to be worse....

i have a used GYT-R bumper im not using... ill sell it to you if your interested...could use a polish but its not bent or anything. just normal wear from hitting brush and rocks flinging up on it when riding behind ppl...

ya like banshee man said you can bend it back but the metals going to be weaker which means it will take less of a hit to bend again. I think your best bet is to just buy a new frame. Think of it this way. you can probably rebuild your bike while your out and getting better. by the time your ready to go riding it should be done with a new frame and all. this way you can at least feel confident when riding and the problem is done with right off the bat and shouldnt come back to haunt you.

good luck
