yoder78 Posted September 14, 2007 Report Posted September 14, 2007 Hello, I have PWK 28's with long rod stroker kit, cool head 21cc domes, stock reed cages for now, DG pipes and silencers. Looking for some jetting help. Don't want to burn this thing down. Right now it has 140 mains in it. Where should I start as soon as i get it back together? Thanks in advance. Quote
Rock-46 Posted September 14, 2007 Report Posted September 14, 2007 My setup was stock crank, dune port, T5's, K&N pod filters, advanced timing etc. I was running 158 mains in my 28's before this last tear down. Quote
dajogejr Posted September 14, 2007 Report Posted September 14, 2007 155 mains and 52 pilots should be safely rich. go from there... Quote
locogato11283 Posted September 15, 2007 Report Posted September 15, 2007 depends on your elevation and temperature.. but, id start at 160 main and 48 pilot and go from there. most of the pwk carbs run close to the same jetting specs. ive run 33, 35 and 39mm pwk and they are all very close in jetting. yoder78 Posted September 15, 2007 Author Report Posted September 15, 2007 Thanks for the advice. This will give me a place to start. Quote
burleybanshee Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 To you should be right on with 155 main, but i would put in a 55 pilot and see. You are running stock jugs with a 4 mil and those pipes it might require a richer pilot than a cubby would. I know i have a 4mil stock jugs with t5 and had 30mm pwk and need a 55 pilot. I am at 400 foot elevation and tuned it on the sniffer on the dyno and it was 80 degrees, low humidity. Quote
