rrr Posted September 12, 2007 Report Posted September 12, 2007 I would like to know what company makes or made some aluminum swing arms for the banshee. Thanks in advance Quote
Washburn Posted September 13, 2007 Report Posted September 13, 2007 http://www.lsracing.com/drag-racing.htm Billet Aluminum Swing Arm $925.00 (Directly from Lonestar) The new all billet aluminum swing arm featrues and completely removable lightened bearing housing with the eccentric chain adjustment available for the stock or aluminum axle. The pinch bolts have been moved to the under side of the swing arm for a cleaner look. Each arm is designed to use stock chain sliders and weighs less than the 3/4 drag swing arms. New Pictures & more styles coming soon. Looks sick! Quote
rrr Posted September 13, 2007 Author Report Posted September 13, 2007 Ok I was trying to find what brand was this swinger I bought: Maybe it's custom, it's minus 1 inch. I have not bin able to find it anywhere. Quote
peterlocal22 Posted September 13, 2007 Report Posted September 13, 2007 hey did you just win the on ebay? i was watching that, how much did you win it for? hows ot look? Quote
tbcustomz Posted September 14, 2007 Report Posted September 14, 2007 Yeah! I got it for 130$, I haven't received it yet but from the pics it looks pretty well made. I'll let you know when I receive it. Let me know when you receive it. I should have kept it and finished it for my banshee for as cheap as it went. It will take a little more sanding on the welds and then some buffing to really make it shine. I just havent had the time. I bought it on ebay probably 4-5 years ago and it has been in my garage. Thanks again for your purchase. Quote
dajogejr Posted September 14, 2007 Report Posted September 14, 2007 http://www.lsracing.com/drag-racing.htmBillet Aluminum Swing Arm $925.00 (Directly from Lonestar) As a side note...that LSR arm is flat out sick...buddy has one on his.... Quote
majicmike Posted September 15, 2007 Report Posted September 15, 2007 Love the looks of them as well little heavy though. but the looks make up for that Quote
FireHead Posted September 15, 2007 Report Posted September 15, 2007 I suspect making aluminum swingarms is a bit more of a liability risk, just as titanium swingarms can be. The LSR are deal is cool looking, but could probably be lighter. I assume the weight is due to something along the lines ofmy comments above. Quote
dajogejr Posted September 15, 2007 Report Posted September 15, 2007 The next time I see brady080 I'll ask him the differences in weight. Last I remember, it was very negligible compared to a steel/chromoly counterpart. Quote

That's about what I remember after I fondled a couple side by side at the SSSS last year. :geek: Quote
