MarineNYC Posted September 7, 2007 Report Posted September 7, 2007 Ok guys I was having trouble with my shee so I decided to take the flywheel cover off. Everything looked normal in there except for a little corrosion ( very little) and some yellow dust. It looked almost like yellow sawdust. Wanted to know if this was normal. Quote

MarineNYC Posted September 10, 2007 Author Report Posted September 10, 2007 I was having problems with my timing and I thought I should check it. I heard horror stories about timing plates and lack of locktite. When I opened the cover I found all of that powder. Scared me. Quote
