klotz_racr Posted August 28, 2007 Report Posted August 28, 2007 On my freinds 88', there is oil coming from the bottom of the spark plug. Its a brownish color. and theres alot of it. The sparkplughs are fresh and tight. What could this Be? Quote
Bansh-eman Posted August 29, 2007 Report Posted August 29, 2007 (edited) when you say there is oil coming from under the plugs. you mean like its running out while riding? try spraying some soapy water on the head and starting the bike up... look for bubbles. if you got an actual leak you dont want to keep riding that thing. if you have an actual leak that thing would have poppd more then likley by now. something tells me your not leaking oil, and its probly residue from whn you changed plugs or some premix dripping on the head from filling the tank or something like that Edited August 29, 2007 by Bansh-eman Quote
FasterThanU90 Posted August 29, 2007 Report Posted August 29, 2007 i kno what ur talking about i think its just something the bike does after just being old its just premix being pushed around the threads i would think and dirt gets in it and makes it look sh*tty, i dont think there is a fix for it besides a new head.. maybe try sum better lock washers or sumthing Quote
