I bought a used modded Banshee and have not had time to perform a plug chop or compression test. My buddies want me to go riding tomorrow. Will I be okay risking it and just running 110 octane at 32:1 with Yamalube 2R, or should I wait and figure out compression? see mods below.....................

Thanks

Full Toomey exhaust

Cool Head

Wiseco Pistons

K&N cone filters

jetted

Appears to have aftermarket carbs on it.

With those mods it would be hard to think there would be a whole lot of compression. I would run a 50/50 race gas/ pump gas mix and call it good just to be safe till you can figure out what the compression is. I doubt its high enough to need 110.

Did the previous owner tell you that you need to run high octane fuel?

I've been running Yamalube in my 2 strokes for years with no complaint!!!

I run it with VP110 at 32:1 in my Cub now... And I'll run the same thing in my 370R until I go to alky.
