Weisco Pistons

Just had my jugs bored out and went to put my new pistons in and noticed weisco's pistons call for an inner circlip to be installed before the wristpin can be installed.......... only one set of circlips came with the piston kit and noticed the stock pistons don't have inner circlips so i'm assuming you just use the circlips on the outside of the wristpin am i correct?

You need 2 circlips per piston.Stock pistons also have 2 clips per piston

ya you need to circlips if not the rispin could slide out and cetch a port and that wood be bad real bad

yeah bud, you should have 2 clips per piston, to hold it from coming out either side. if your pistons didn't come with enough i'd go back to wherever you got them and complain and get replacements. i wouldn't re-use the old ones if you don't have to. but i'm sure it would work fine if you are in a pinch.

no hes talking about them saying to put them a set on the inside of the skirt its just the way they worded it bro, they go on the outside of the pin

they probably just mean put the one in that will be towards the center of the engine in first so you can slide the pin in against it and have room to work to put the other one in.
