peterlocal22 Posted August 9, 2007 Report Posted August 9, 2007 (edited) just installed my 2 into 1 carb. seemed alright when i first started it but then when i pushed in the choke and gave it gas it boged down and died out. started up again and did the same thing. could it be my jetting? i have other jets for the kit but no idea what jet is what and no idea how to change out jets for a 2 into one carb? any help is appreciated oh ya i live in bostone massachusetts elevations around 180 ft. i also just removed my tors and parking brake but im pretty sure thats not the problem because i followed all the directions from other topics and i think i removed everything. the bike will drive as long as you give it a little gas slowly then it get going. if you gun it it will bog down and die out? thanks Edited August 9, 2007 by peterlocal22 Quote
fox_forma Posted August 9, 2007 Report Posted August 9, 2007 what size 2in1 is it and what is your jetting at? Double check all the TORS again as it does sound like that is the cause. Quote
JKJK Posted August 9, 2007 Report Posted August 9, 2007 What if you leave the choke on?Does it still do the same thing?Changing the jet is the same as duels just half the effort. To change, you just remove the big screw on the bottom of the bowl+a 6mm socket will pull the jet out. Quote
350BANSHEE350 Posted August 9, 2007 Report Posted August 9, 2007 do a plug chop mine dies when i pull the choke but its not suposed to make it run better with the choke on not hard to change jets either jets all have numbers and if the jet is long then its a long hex if its short then its a short hex Quote
