Kevin M Posted August 8, 2007 Report Posted August 8, 2007 Do these work on a banshee without a battery? Website says they only work for a 12 volt system. Does the stator put out 12V....haven't checked my RS with a volt meter... http://www.radlites.com/billet_mount.htm Quote

RoostRocket Posted August 9, 2007 Report Posted August 9, 2007 my buddy just put one of those on each side of the grab bar on his 450 and they looks sweet and they are pretty bright. Quote
hyperlite33 Posted August 9, 2007 Report Posted August 9, 2007 If you go to Pep Boys and pick up a set of the license plate Led bolts, and pick up 2 small L brackets from a hardware store, you have esentially the same thing at a fraction of the cost. That's what I did, and they are super bright and are for a 12v system. If you need I can take some pics for ya... Quote
YFZ350kid Posted August 19, 2007 Report Posted August 19, 2007 I'm using red LED clearance lights that would be used on a bus or tractor/trailer and have had no issues with voltage, at high RPM im interested to see how long they hold up to the approx 18V that the shee puts out at 8k+rpm, but i have 10 of em, so its no biggie... (BTW the lights were salvaged off of a totaled school bus from work) Quote
grounded Posted August 19, 2007 Report Posted August 19, 2007 I have a red one mounted right under the over flow tank, , it brightens up the shock and swing arm nicely Quote
