Are reed spacers a good investment at all or just a waste of money?what exactly do they do to enhance performance?.....also does a boost bottle do anything at all? or just a waste of money?

Reed spacers really dont show a big change in numbers, but do help larger carbs fit over the clutch arm. Boost bottles are a waste of money and space, dont get one.

I have homemade 7/8" reedspacers and stock carbs, I changed my clutch cable without removing anything but the radiator cover?

boost bottle = junk. dont waste your time.

reed spacers are really only necessary when you need to clear big carbs past the clutch arm. otherwise i wouldnt bother with them.

agreed, unless you have a clearance issue or just want some more crap to polish dont bother with either. i put spacers on my bike when i first bought it and it already had a boost bottle and i havent noticed any type of gains from either of them. they do look pretty when there all polished up though...lol
