EatMyDustBanshee Posted July 31, 2007 Report Posted July 31, 2007 Okay, I've seen some topic kinda like the one I'm writing. Mines kinda different though. I want to race cut my fenders but the stuff I go riding in I don't know if I would be good. I ride in the sand alot but I also go down back roads every once in awhile. I've got a +2 axle and I've listened to see if I heard any rocks or stuff hitting my fenders but it was hard since it is a Shee and all, but I didn't. So what I am wandering is if anyone else has theres cut and ran it down a back road or something like it and had any problems. Quote
KaosBanshee44 Posted July 31, 2007 Report Posted July 31, 2007 OMG another topic about cutting fucking fenders..........LISTEN NOOOOOOOO you can have no fenders and drive down any road in america and it won't throw shit up on you. You can drive through cat shit, dog shit, snow, dirt, grass, gravel, etc. It's not gonna make a difference cut the fuckers OFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF Quote
fck4strokes Posted August 1, 2007 Report Posted August 1, 2007 Yep I do the same riding and mine are cut off did not notice any differnce other than it looks alot better. Cut the fuckers off Quote
peterlocal22 Posted August 1, 2007 Report Posted August 1, 2007 i know everyone going to hate me for this but i wouldnt cut them. i cut mine off and i thought it was real cool for a while but now i wish i hadnt. infact i just bought s new set of front fenders uncutt about 30 minutes ago. not so much because of rocks but more for puddles. when you cut your fenders you absolutely will get more wet. dont do it. if i were you i would buy an already cut set. infact i will be selling mine for cheap if you want and there in really good condition. either way dont do it trust me. once you cut them thats it. sorry if this just confused you more. fox_forma Posted August 1, 2007 Report Posted August 1, 2007 I ride in AZ where its high speeds and lot of smaller rocks and have no issues with them hitting me or anything and my front and rears are fully shaved. Cut em off!!!!! Quote
ClimbAnyHill Posted August 1, 2007 Report Posted August 1, 2007 I had the same concerns because I'm a trail rider as well.. I ride & climb some nasty shit!! So I chopped them off anyway & have no probs.. Crap kicks out the back, never up! Having a +2 axle & offset rims helps keep the dirt, gravel, rocks etc away!! Now go do some chopping and post up them pix  Quote
