peterlocal22 Posted July 31, 2007 Report Posted July 31, 2007 whats up everyone glad to see this site back up before i buy these. there axis shocks set upf for a 240 lb rider for +2+1 a arms. they have ressies but no comp or rebound. just ride height adjustable. there in awsome condition set up for mx/ woods. i ride mostly trails. i have +3+1 a arms and i weigh about 190 with all my gear. i was talking w some one who knows alot about shocks on a differnet site and he said the +2+1 should be fine even though mine is +3+1. also figure that since i weigh 190 and there set up for a 240 lb rider that maybe this will make up the differnece. they were bought in 2002 not used very much. asking around $350.00 im a weekend warrior so i figured i dont need all the adjustments except ride hight to keep me high off the ground. so i dont bottom out on any rocks. should i buy or stay away? thank in advance. peter Quote

differentstrokes Posted July 31, 2007 Report Posted July 31, 2007 Jump on those quick. Axis is one of the best, if not the best for the type of riding you do. Compression and rebound adjust is great, but you'll be fine without it. Quote
