Noise when turning.....

Recommended Posts

When i turn to the right there is a clicking or banging noise comming fromn right rear of bike....any ideas where to start???

Bad axle bearings, or a loose hub. It could be a lot of different things, but you could start by checking those two, and let us know what you find.

possible you bent your brake rotor? possible your hearing your caliper rubbing or banging on it. mine rubs pretty loud. but if its bent will give off a banging or clacking noise.

also check your bolt that holds on your swingarm. bearings could be bad and thats what your hearing.

but it only makes noise when turning right? which means its putting pressure on the left side rear?

could be your chain too. is it clickin on your sprocket?

if your chain is too tight it will give off a clicking sound too.

a little advice here, if it is your carrier bearings making the noise, dont go for a ride thinking it will make it a while more. in my experience once they start making noise you have a bout half an hour till they come apart. thats how mine stranded me halfway up the mountain
