Any members here from Arizona ??? If so, whats the construction ( New homes) like out there ?? still building or did it STOP like here in Florida??

I am looking to make a move to where the work is at, which isnt here anymore. I install cabinets in new construction homes, licensed and insured.

From what i here Arizona is pretty dead to I'm in Cali and it's been slow since October.

I've heard that New Mexico was still building pretty good but I dont know for sure.

I heard that !!!!!!! My family is still there and have told me how BAD the economy is now. Looks like J. Granholm is doing an awsome job for the peaps back home !! ( yeah right !!)

talked to a good friend of mine from maine, that comes up here to the lake in the summer. he says housing values(-2%) and new construction was down this year in the U.S. the only two states where this was an exception was texas and california.

all my buddies that were framing residential property have switched over to doing commerical work....now they are wondering why the hell they didnt start doing commercial buildings a long time ago. The only place I'm still doing a decent amount of resi products is in the NW...Seattle seems to be doing OK.

I just moved out to AZ not long ago and I was installing Directv and almost every job I was at was new homes. They seem to to be building new places everywhere outside of the phoenix area. Queen Creek, Mesa, chandler there is a lot of new places going up. At least thats what it seemed when I was working.
