Hello all,

i am ordering parts next week for my new banshee motor and im trying to build the most powerful and most reliable one ever (money is only a slight concern). I race every weekend at the moto track in the short summer in alaska and race pretty damn hardcore on the ice track in the very long winters. i was thinking of a long rod stroker big bore kit, im not sure if all that will work together. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated, what cylinders should i go with, what kit is the best( most complete and most power), what head is the best? You guys are the supreme experts so i want to know what u guys think, THANKS again

Look in the for sale section at the banshee broke is selling. The engine in that quad would be a pretty sweet setup for your riding (you'll have the powervalves for the low end power at the track coming out of the corners)

I would get ahold of Dan at Patriot Racing or Dave from ILR Performance. Ask them about a 4-6mm long rod cub motor. Do not let Dave talk you into a Lectron Carburetor(s) though.

i know were there are some big bore cylinders that have been ported by cp customs that run like a raped ape!!! they were my old cylinders and the only reason i sold them was to go to a cub.... but these are stock stroke and have an aggressive play port on them and have tons of bottom end and endless top!!!! let me know and ill get you some pics and a price tag.... very good deal though, just rebuilt and broke in 2 weeks ago... thanks

A full size cheetah would serve you better than a cub for the simple fact that it has powervalves (wider, easier to ride powerband). After that, the size of the engine is really limited by your wallet (although an 18 mill probably wouldn't be terribly safe on a MX track).

I nice port job will make you gobbs of power with stock juggs and the right supporting mods. Not sure how it will do with being on a track. I would think traction would be the hardest problem to overcome. But i just use mine as a playbike
