Bad choice. All it lead to was tickets and hassles for me. The day I sold off my street bikes and hopped back on a dirtbike and ripped it as hard as I possibly could I never looked back. This is my dual sport supermoto bike. TONS of fun in the city, will give sportbikes a run for there money in the twisty roads, 60MPG, cheap on insurance ($150/year) and I can take it offroad if I like! Best of both worlds! If you have no place to ride like myself then you can have your cake and eat it too with a supermoto. My best friend just bought one and now I'm selling my gasgas quad to do the same. I still have the banshee but it's nothing like just getting on a bike and tearing up the roads and then rippin' off road somewhere. He loves it.... and I think I will too. I do have a trail system near my house but it's a state park and NO motorized vehicles are allowed.... But since I stopped giving a shit and went riding anyways, it doesn't really matter to me anymore. I just don't stop for the man anymore. We've been riding the lehigh valley railroad since they took the tracks up in the early 80's. And 4 years ago they turned it into a state park. now the DEC are all over it. But that didn't stop me from still riding. I just go out at night after they go home for the day. It sux but.... like you said bro.... NO MORE TRAILS LEFT!!! EAT SHIT NEW YORK!!!!!! MILO Posted June 30, 2007 Report Share Posted June 30, 2007 i wouldn't get rid of the shee to get a street bike unless you have to because of the money. there will most likely come a time when you wish you had it back. if you can swing it, just get a bike and put the shee on the back burner for a while. having both is great. you just have to know your limits on each to keep yourself out of trouble. You think you have it bad i live in Beaumont, Texas do the research there is nowhere to ride and you have to drive forever just to hit decent dunes. But i'm still happy with what i got. When it's all you have to ride it gets boring fast and the only thing that keeps it fun is riding with friends. If I drive out towards the cape I can find some decent sand dunes to ride. I don't have a banshee and never had a banshee. I am dying for one though thats for sure. I still got my dirtbike but as soon as I can I plan on selling that to get a shee. blak banshee Posted July 1, 2007 Report Share Posted July 1, 2007 I did the opposite. Started riding streetbikes, they are fun, but too fragile and too easy to fuck yourself up bad on. Got a dirtbike and loved it. You can beat the shit out of it, drop it, crash it and it wont cost you big bux to fix. Then I got into quads and nothing beats tearing shit up in the dirt. There are no legal places for me to ride either unless you want to pay a bullshit 1200 a year membership fee to ride on a crowded track.
