the paint cured for like 2 weeks , jetting is goood , no leakdown test yet, choke tube is in place , 89 octane

thats what i was saying, 89 with 180 compression and +4 timing... wowee...

i had 98 octane in her when all this happened i used to only run 87 wit no problems. i dont run anything under 94 actane now.

WOW, That is your problem I wouldnt run anything below 110 octane in that sob! 180Lbs with 94 octane and over 9000 rpm...... your detonating I would pull the top end off just to make sure its ok! If you ran 87 before you are lucky if you didnt ruin your top end!
