K-Freak Posted June 12, 2007 Report Posted June 12, 2007 So, We are finishing up the new Banshee for Pikes Peak, and we really thought that the Mint Green frame (with 70's style metalflake), and Orange Laker Custom plastics were pretty out there. Then my friend says " We should Wrap it". What? "You know...wrap it, like they do buses and stuff like that". Ok, sure. Wrap it to look like what? "I dunno, I'll figure somethin' out". And this, my friends, is what he came up with. This crazy, 100+hp cheetah print Banshee (funny thing is, it's not a cheetah motor, it's a T-Rex motor), will make it's debut at this years Pikes Peak International Hill Climb as Number 888, and will be ridden by Lee Kent. It'll be hard to miss. There will be a few more changes before it's completely ready. We have a few more parts to install, and everything needs to be locktighted and cotter pinned, etc. Stay tuned. Rediculous is just more fun. And the cool thing is that I can get the wrap in whatever pattern I can dream up. Just about to wrap my Z400 in something equally nutty. Quote
firefighterjosh Posted June 12, 2007 Report Posted June 12, 2007 What is this "wrap" you talk about? Viynl? Looks good Quote
bigboybanshee Posted June 12, 2007 Report Posted June 12, 2007 I like it, lol...it is DEFINITELY unique!!! Good luck at Pikes Peak, I'd love to be able to run something like that. Please take lots of pics and vids if you can  Quote
theshee Posted June 12, 2007 Report Posted June 12, 2007 Looks cool... That wrap is good stuff. I had the tank and rad cover done on my wifes banshee. Quote

K-Freak Posted June 12, 2007 Author Report Posted June 12, 2007 What is this "wrap" you talk about? Viynl? Looks good I think it is Vinyl. It's cool, though, because theses guys save your one-off print in their system and if you damage it, they can reprint just what you need. It cost me about the same as a new set of plastics, but I don't need a graphics kit or anything. I really like the fact that there is not one other Banshee that looks like it. So, thanks! Quote
dajogejr Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 That is kick ass...retro style. I feel like I just got dropped onto my head and sent back to the disco era....just need some tight shirts and pants, BeeGee music, a disco ball and a whole lot of hair (which...I surely can not supply)... That is a "different type of cool" looking ride...badass...  Quote
White06Shee Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 Damn It, I Was Gunna Do A Small Section Of My Plastics In Cheetah Print, Looks Like Im Gunna Have To Do Something Differant Quote
bansheeyfz Posted June 14, 2007 Report Posted June 14, 2007 imo i think its ugly...just my opinion Quote
ClimbAnyHill Posted June 14, 2007 Report Posted June 14, 2007 I like the idea of being different & like the cheetah design but don't like the color combo. I'd like it better on a black frame but that's me. Good luck & hope you kick some good ass at the climbs  Quote
