  1. I think it is Vinyl. It's cool, though, because theses guys save your one-off print in their system and if you damage it, they can reprint just what you need. It cost me about the same as a new set of plastics, but I don't need a graphics kit or anything. I really like the fact that there is not one other Banshee that looks like it. So, thanks!
  2. So, We are finishing up the new Banshee for Pikes Peak, and we really thought that the Mint Green frame (with 70's style metalflake), and Orange Laker Custom plastics were pretty out there. Then my friend says " We should Wrap it". What? "You know...wrap it, like they do buses and stuff like that". Ok, sure. Wrap it to look like what? "I dunno, I'll figure somethin' out". And this, my friends, is what he came up with. This crazy, 100+hp cheetah print Banshee (funny thing is, it's not a cheetah motor, it's a T-Rex motor), will make it's debut at this years Pikes Peak International Hill Climb as Number 888, and will be ridden by Lee Kent. It'll be hard to miss. There will be a few more changes before it's completely ready. We have a few more parts to install, and everything needs to be locktighted and cotter pinned, etc. Stay tuned. Rediculous is just more fun. And the cool thing is that I can get the wrap in whatever pattern I can dream up. Just about to wrap my Z400 in something equally nutty.

  6. The weather still looks good for Sherman! We are looking at partly cloudy skies and mid seventy degree temps. Perfect weather for racing. If you're watching the weather online, be sure to look at Sherman, TX, and not Dallas. Dallas is about two hours south of the track and the weather is completely different. See you Friday and Saturday!
  7. I just wanted to let everyone know that you will be able to camp on Friday night after practice. So if you want to come early you can get your Saturday wristband on Friday night and get settled in for the weekend. ken
  8. I hope the turnout is good as well. We sure are working hard to make sure the track is up to snuff. If you can't come race, I hope you'll at least come out for a few hours to see the action. But I totally understand if you can't. Having a new baby in the house is a full time job, for sure. Take care, and thanks for the feedback on the track!! Ken
  9. Hi Everyone, Preparation Continues for the North40 Quad Challenge, October 14th. Just looking at the weather forcast for the Sherman area and I'm happy to report that we are looking at Sunny skies and below average temps for race day. Sunny and 70 degrees. Not too bad. The track is coming together really well and we are doing final prep on the pit and parking areas this weekend. We'll do prep on the track on Friday afternoon for Friday night practice (4pm-9pm), and then we'll re-prep Saturday afternoon for the Race on Saturday night. We're now expecting better than 100 racers for the big event, including two riders from Japan and Current Pikes Peak Champion Jim Goertz is coming down from the Toronto area. We have the Dyno Works Mobile Dyno on hand, Drag Quad Exhibition runs, two food vendors, at least two live bands, and we also have helicopter rides. So it should be a good time. Hope to see all of you there. Flyer here: International Flyer Ken Stouffer PPIHC Pro Quad #287
