Adal2154 Posted June 3, 2007 Report Posted June 3, 2007 hey guys just looking to have a heads up on what i should see when i take mine apart i was ridein yesterday and when i landed i missed my foot peg and came down pretty hard on the shifter now its stick in 3or4 gear will not down shift might up shift but didnt want to try that cuz i had to limp her home thanks Quote

Raoul Posted June 4, 2007 Report Posted June 4, 2007 yeah do you have to split the case? You just have to take the clutch case cover off. Once you remove the shifter, you can slide the shaft out. Check the clutch adjustment bolt when you take the clutch cover off. Mine broke a while back, and I had a lot of trouble shifting it. Quote
