Won these online a month or so ago and they wont fit! No matter which way I try and put them they will noth match up right. The screw hole for the exhaust mount will not line up with the exhaust flange. Take a look at the pics, this is really pissing me off.....

Basically it seems like the middle portion of the pipe should be on the inside of the frame but theres no way thats gunna happen unless I take the motor out!

Thanks in advance for the help.

Since I know some unhelpful asshole is gunna say "just read the directions off duncans site".... Here they are just to give you and idea of how useless they are.

1. Remove front and rear fenders, and fuel tank.

2. Remove stock pipes and silencers. Retain all bolts, head pipe springs and pipe/silencer joint rubber clamps.

3. Adjust protective spring on lower radiator hose. To do this, slide spring from stock position down hose away from radiator approximately 6

Yea I was looking at the picture and I still cant figure it out.... Do the pipes somehow cross? Left header right silencer ect...

Its like these are for a dirtbike but it has yfz350 stamped right on the label....

Thats what I thought. Any ideas what these are for then? Looks like they might just have to go back up on fleabay.... Or i Need to send them back

I would send them back. It was mid advertised so the seller has to take them back.

I emailed the seller as well as opened a dispute with paypal/ebay. Waiting on a response. If anyone else has anything to share let me know. I have had several friends look at them and they do not fit.

The ones on fouledout420's look like the high revs...your PT's look like the mids, they can be a pain in the butt to get on...

Just curious, but have you tried putting that pipe on the left side to see if it fits better? You'll have some fun getting them on, try rotating the pipe on the exhaust flange to change the angle of it. Dab some grease on the exhaust flange (on the cylinders) and it'll help the pipe rotate around until you find the spot it needs to be in...I had to put a spacer on the pipe mount because it sat out a little far, but the holes lined up for the most part.

Here's a couple pics of my PT's installed....

See if you can get the pipe on the inside of the frame before sliding it on the exhaust flange, see if that helps some. Reference where the label is on my pipes compared to yours in the pics. Like I said before, try rotating the pipe around on the flange once it's on, see if it makes a difference.

Yeah Mine are the Hi-Revs, I didn't get any pics of my mids when I had them. Thats why I wasn't sure if it would help him or not. The bend on the Hi-revs tuck into the frame more and really put a pinch on the upper coolant line. Sorry for the confusion, the pic was more for reference on the position of the labels like you said.

In the picture I took the exhaust was pressed all the way onto the jug yet the pipe still needed 3-4 inches of clearance before it would fit in the frame. The pipe will not fit in the frame at all with the ends being where they need to be. The label points towards the bottom of my front tire when the pipe hits the frame, also the flange on the exhaust points at about a 45 degree angle downwards. I dont see how these can be the right pipes.

Take some pics of what it looks mounted at the cylinders. Your pipes look just like mine do. I'm just trying to help, not trying to say you're wrong or anything like that...you may have received a funky set of pipes, but I just know what a pain in the butt it was for me the first time I installed the PT's...it took me a while to get it all right. Work on it a little more, you just may get it lined up

Simply curious, but are you trying to mount the pipe directly to the frame or are you using pipe hangers? I just didn't see any so I wanted to ask

Good luck with this!

Also, if you can, take a pic holding the pipe where it should be (mounted to the frame) and see where the inlet ends up.

^^^ To be honest, that's not farfetched...I do remember there being a year stamped on my PT's along with the name and 350 banshee. I never thought about that...but it sure would suck if that were so in jlsparkys case.
