I can attest first hand that banshee dont fly well. It was me, my brother'n'law, and my nephew, we were riding some forest service roads going up the side of a mountain when my bro'n law spots a trail no bigger than our quads going down the side of that mountain, with a steep embankment going up on one side a another steep embankment going down. So we find the trail head and head down, we ride for a mile or 2 and come to a fork in the trail that has signs that tells the miles to the end of each trail. Since we were unfamiliar with the area and each trail was in the high teens for mileage to the end, we headed back. On the way back I was moving at a good clip, not hauling ass, but good enough when all of a sudden I feel a harsh slam in the front and next thing I know Im flying off the side of the embankment. Now this may sound fictional but its not, in mid air I managed to grab a tree as I and the shee landed. The shee tipped sideways against the tree I grabbed and pinned my leg between the handle bar and gas tank while I lay upside down on the other side of the tree. I lay there stunned trying to figure out what the hell happened my nephew slides down the hill and grabs my shoulder and I start to laugh as I realize Im ok, and tell him "dontworry about me, but to grab my quad. Just then my bro comes to grab the front of the shee as it start to slide down as I pull my leg out. My nephew is now standing behind the shee with the grab bar at head level and all 3 of us heave ho the shee out of the brush and on to the trail. When all is good and my bike is on solid ground they all asked the same ? I was asking myself "what the hell did you do!" "It looked like you took a b line right off the trail!" So I took a walk down the trail to see that as I was riding a little close to the uphill part of the trail and my front tire and rim hit and bounced off the bottom of a root ball of a big douglas fir tree. Needless to say, Ill definately slow down and pay more attention next time I go down a trail like that.

crashing is almost fun if you dont hurt yourself or break the bike.

I've been lucky as I have never not walked away from a crash, usually im runnin after my bike like oh shit i hope nothin broke.

On may long my buddy was doubling a girl and took the ditch in 5th gear so they were lucky to not be hurt there.

Ironically enough, the only crash I've had that I didn't walk away from was on a bicycle, long before I started riding dirt bikes/quads. I was riding down a steep-ass hill that was really rough, by the time I got to the bottom I had to be doing at least 50MPH, and I hit a rut from a truck tire... sent me and the bike flipping through the air, I came down on my left shoulder and broke the shit outta it. Other than that, I bailed off my dirt bike a few times, bunged my leg up pretty good on one particular incident, but I walked away from all those.
