  4. Sounds like you have the carb slides in the worng carb. Switch the slides in the carbs and post back with results.
  5. Sweet mini rail! Just curious to know how does it do in the sand?
  6. Not really, check post #7. Maybe some marine adhesive by 3m would work better, but I should really buy new paddles.
  7. Nope, epoxy might work for something else but does not work well on paddles. It did take a full day of riding before all the epoxy finaly came off. Might work if in a pinch, definatley not a permenate fix.
  8. Yes they do, as thats the setup I have. Unfortunately my pt silencers are broke and had no other choice.
  9. I feel for you guys. If you know some more info on this guy this link might help www.zabbasearch.com Good luck.
  10. I just recently bought some haulers in similar condition. I went to home depot and purchased some rubber epoxy, cleaned the broken paddles, and applied the epoxy. The epoxy seems to hold extremely well, but I cant say how they hold up after a ride as I havent gotten a chance to test them. I can say that I can pull, and push the repaired paddles with all my weight and nothing happens. The epoxy I bought I beleive said it can hold up to 1500 psi. Im actually heading out to florence tonight I can report back on sunday as to the condition of the repairs.
  11. I had a similar problem and it was the carb slides in the wrong carb. Try switching them. When you do fix your problem Im curious to know what it is.
  12. Doesnt ups, fedex, usps, and dhl all give tracking #'s with packages? I say pull your money back via paypal and hopefully he already sent the items, then wait 6 weeks, ignore his emails, and then give him his money. See how he likes it.
  13. Damn it! level 5 kills.
  14. That looks almost identical to what my piston in my Fl250 looked like. The problem was a lean condition caused by an air leak.
  15. Im no expert by any means , but if it were me I would try somewhere between 230 & 270 and do a plug chop. Then go from there.
  16. I had to replace my rubbers for my paul turners. I went to american hose and fitting in Kent, Washington and I bought about 2' of 1" i.d. silicone hose. It looks to be the same stuff that cascade sells and it works great.
  17. Sorry but Im no longer looking to trade. I got hold of a 400ex thumb throttle and it cured everything. Night and day difference, no more sore thumb or forearms. Thanks any way

    WTB Silencers

I not to picky as far as what name brand I just need a set of silencers that are either polished or need to be polished and have to fit paul turners. I live in Washington state 98023 if you want to calculate the shipping. Pics would be great.
  19. I have paul turner highs with stock silencers and works great for me in both trails and sand, but I also have no other experience to compare it to. Unfortunately my fatboy silencers are broke so I have no other choice but to use the stock silencers, and with trail riding I have to use the stock silencers anyway because their forest service approved.
  20. Artist- song title Pillar- Frontline Ive been in your sitiuation before, where Ive heard a song and wished I knew who it was. I found it that if I listen to the song and search some of the lyrics in google I find the song most of the time. For instance I listened to this song and heard "battle cry tonight" so I typed this into google followed by the word LYRICS and it was the first link to pop up. Hope this helps.
  21. What size are the paddles? And pics would be great. Thanks.
  22. Like title says, if you got let me know how to 98023. Thanks.
  23. I can attest first hand that banshee dont fly well. It was me, my brother'n'law, and my nephew, we were riding some forest service roads going up the side of a mountain when my bro'n law spots a trail no bigger than our quads going down the side of that mountain, with a steep embankment going up on one side a another steep embankment going down. So we find the trail head and head down, we ride for a mile or 2 and come to a fork in the trail that has signs that tells the miles to the end of each trail. Since we were unfamiliar with the area and each trail was in the high teens for mileage to the end, we headed back. On the way back I was moving at a good clip, not hauling ass, but good enough when all of a sudden I feel a harsh slam in the front and next thing I know Im flying off the side of the embankment. Now this may sound fictional but its not, in mid air I managed to grab a tree as I and the shee landed. The shee tipped sideways against the tree I grabbed and pinned my leg between the handle bar and gas tank while I lay upside down on the other side of the tree. I lay there stunned trying to figure out what the hell happened my nephew slides down the hill and grabs my shoulder and I start to laugh as I realize Im ok, and tell him "dontworry about me, but to grab my quad. Just then my bro comes to grab the front of the shee as it start to slide down as I pull my leg out. My nephew is now standing behind the shee with the grab bar at head level and all 3 of us heave ho the shee out of the brush and on to the trail. When all is good and my bike is on solid ground they all asked the same ? I was asking myself "what the hell did you do!" "It looked like you took a b line right off the trail!" So I took a walk down the trail to see that as I was riding a little close to the uphill part of the trail and my front tire and rim hit and bounced off the bottom of a root ball of a big douglas fir tree. Needless to say, Ill definately slow down and pay more attention next time I go down a trail like that.
