what if when people make a new fourm they have to chose inext to the topic titlehave to pick if its general or of topic, then when it is created it shows it up in the fourms index window. Also instead of making a seprate "genaral discution" and "off topic" just make a "genaral and of topic" window at the top then people can chose to read ether genaral and off topic

 

now this is just my idea i thought when i couldent sleep last night so it might be a stupid idea its just a sugestion im trying to make

Not exactly sure what you mean. Are you suggesting combining the off-topic and general discussion forums, then moving it to the top?

i think he is reffering to just a topic tag.... which doesnt solve anything it jut lets everyon know which furom it goes in .... 90% of the time you can tell by the name of it...

 

 

i say just use this one for anything not specific to the forums you have already... there is a forum to cover most anything... trying to seperate the two isnt really accomplishing anything...

Basicly when you creat a fourm you have to pick a topic itle, like this you also need to choose two things from a drop down menu: genaral discution (bad spelling) or genaral discution. this will ten be displayed on the main fourms page next to the title of the post

Yeah i had to re-read that twice to figure out what you were trying to say. What they need to do is just move the two off topics forums closer to each other and somehow show there different. Most people don't scroll down far enough to see that there is another forum for off topic discussion and not banshee related.
