Ok.. so like.. today was my first day of riding the banshee after 2 months ago cuase of my accident.. finally solved my engine problems and now it runs good buuuut... IF I GO OVER 4th GEAR, AND EXPECIALLY WHEN I GUN IT, IT WOBBLES THE HANDLE BARS LIKE A MUTHER. i mean like, seriously, 2 inchs back and forth back and forth on both sides, it makes it damn near impossible to ride. Its easyily noticable. lemme put it this way, its so bad, that i wont go over 4th gear, cause its so wobbly that i cant control it. Now.. 2 months ago, i crashed it. BAD i dont remember how it crashed, why, or how it landed or how many thimes it roled, but i do know that before it crashed the plastices were new, but now they have scraths on it. Big gash scratchs. So i know i at least rollesd it a few times. ( lol i was going so fast, that it launched me so far and so hard, and my head hit the ground so hard, that it knocked me unconsoius for about 40 minutes before my friends found me, and then i kept fading in and out of consiousnes. Thats how hard i, and in turn, the quad hit the ground. so, me and my dad deduced that its not the axel. Now we looked at the front end. I think it needs a rebuild. I can move the wheels with my hands.. theyre tight, but the wheels wobble back and forth due to the used a arm bushings, and used tie rod bushings. They wobble back and forth about 3/4 of an inch with my hands.. they wobble. Like the bshings are worn. The other problems are that for some reason, the right wheel sits funny.. like this ~~~~ / / ~~~~~ slanted. Wtf? help me out here.. what else could be the prblem.

if you think the front end needs a rebuild i would do it i would also replace the t rod bushing and check the adjustmint on them.i would also do the front hubs while ur at it and check the frame and steering stem to see if anything is bent.just cause u said you crashed pretty hard.

You could have a bent a arm. The tabs for the ball joints on the upper a arms are very weak, on the stock a arms. I've bent several in the last 11 years.

he is right i would check that also i forgot about that.

Take the 2 arms off and put them next to eachother to see if they are the same. Now might be a good time to consider an a-arm frame upgrade. Just a thought.

If you have blurred vision or headaches you may want to get your head checked out. You could have a subdural or epidural hematoma. Its a bleed in your brain that will give you chronic headaches and possible bloody noses along with the blurred vision.

i have an 89 banshee... j arm. any different?

The j arms still have the same tab, for the ball joint, and the tab tends to bend, just out from the weld. The j arms are also weaker, than the a arms, so that could be your problem.
