ran out of jets

I have a 420 cheetah, dg pipes, 34mm keihin carbs k&n filters timing at +4, I live in grand

rapids michigan, I have a 40 pilot jet in, air screw out 2 turns 165 main needle in the middle and the plugs still say its rich, I have \played with the floats(just made sure they sit level) the thing sounds like it wants to start but just rolls over like two or three times. I must have tried everything but want it want to run. I have lots of spark, 145psi with 21cc domes, any help would be great.

I was wondering what would it run like if one of the powervalves were stuck because that is the only thing i can think that would cause the problem

Your jetting is off and you're way rich on the main jet. down size the main to a 145-150 and the pilot to a 42 clip in 3rd position and the air scrfew out to 1-1.5 turns out. What's your elevation?? That would help too

I live in michigan so I think Im at sea level

grand rapids should be about 1000 ft above sealevel. Most of michigan is 500-1000.

your just pissing up wind with dg pipes, they arent much better than stockers. especailly with a cheetah.

 

jetting i would say like a 50-52 pilot, mid clip of cel, del range needle, 152 mains should be close. for 1000ft.
