  2. I was wondering what would it run like if one of the powervalves were stuck because that is the only thing i can think that would cause the problem

I have a 420 cheetah, dg pipes, 34mm keihin carbs k&n filters timing at +4, I live in grand rapids michigan, I have a 40 pilot jet in, air screw out 2 turns 165 main needle in the middle and the plugs still say its rich, I have \played with the floats(just made sure they sit level) the thing sounds like it wants to start but just rolls over like two or three times. I must have tried everything but want it wants to run. I have lots of spark, 145psi with 21cc domes, any help would be great. Jeff

  5. I miss typed I have 22cc domes I think I 1000ft above sea level in michigan, right?
  6. compression is 145psi, domes are 19cc, using 96 octane fuel
  7. I have a 421cc cheetah, lighten flywheel, 34mm pj carbs, taller gears in the tranny(rz 350), clutch, pipes etc, I have my timing at zero, I have an adjustable timing plate should I advance it, What would it help, and what would it change. Jetting? thanks jeff

I have a cheetah 420cc and someone told me that the valves will not open if I dont connect the hoses (from the powervalves) to a intake ports that I have to drill myself, I was wondering if anyone had some info on this. Firehead put up some pics but I would like to hear from some other people before i drill into 2k worth of cylinders, Does making the connect help or whats the story, I think if it was needed the jugs would have came with the ports already.

  13. where are the intake ports I looked at the jugs and see no where to put the lines, I have a lot of money in this thing and all i want to do is ride the thing. Ive been messing with the thing for a few weeks and am getting pissed that It doesnt run, But the hose problem would make sense. any and all information would be great, the guy I got the jugs from didnt give me directions so Im kind of in the dark.

  15. The hoses just go on the powervalves and then point down to the ground right? How can the hoses do so much? Is there a certain length that they work best at?
  16. I have a 421cc cheetah and have paul turner pipes, The hoses that go to the powervalves touch the exhaust so I just never have put them on. will this make it hard to jet? thanks jeff
  17. How many times should I kick it over before, I should change anyting? I have been kicking it over about 20 times. MY right leg is huge now. It still just rolls over like three or four times on its own then dies, 40 pilot, 160 main, air screw out 1.5 turns any help would be great. :: jeff
  18. First thanks for the help before hand. , I know the pipes arent the best but I do alot riding in the woods and through apple orchards. No I have never got the thing to run, I just got it rebuild and have been to rejet it, pistons are brand new and I have 140psi on both sides, I live in kent city michigan, about 20 minutes north of Grand rapids. I ll put the smaller pilots in and see what happens. hopefully this works, stator and spark plug wires are brand new.and I have dek needles 3rd clip. thanks lot everyone. jeff

Ok have tried everything, I have a 420cc cheetah kit with paul turner pipes, k&n filtersd, 34mm flat slide keihin carbs 22cc domes, stock timing,and v-force 2 reeds and all I can get the banshee to do it grumble for like 3 seconds. I have 55pilots, 155 main and the air screw is 3.5 turns out, the needle in the seats are brand new, I live in michigan so my elevation is about 1000 ft above sea level. anything would be great. jeff 420cc cheetah, crank trued and welded, k&n filters, 34mm carbs, Barnett clutch, lighten flywheel, ricky stator stator, rz 350 gears.
  20. yeah, I have no idea Why maybe my plugs arent hot enough? Should I pull it around to run the gas out of ther cylinders?
  21. All right any help would be great my friend and I have been completely lost. I Just bought trinity cheetah cylinders with a 4mm stroker, I have 34mm pj carbs and shitty but paul turner mid range pipes, We have been trying to jet this thing but now we noticed that there is gas in the exhaust! what the hell is this all about? Right now I have 142 main jet and 40 pilot needle in the middle, My is at zero but I have an adjustable timing plate so should I make it +4 or do I have other issues? I have rz cases and the rz cdi with a banshee stator, would this mess up the timing? :shoothead: any thoughts would help jeff
  22. I have a 421cc cheetah kit but have a 4mm stroker with 110mm rods, my question is there pistons that could help me gain the 5mm I dont have from not using a long rod or do I have to sell the crank I have and buy a new one with long rods. thanks for any help Jeff
