Screaming Yellow Zonker Posted May 3, 2007 Report Posted May 3, 2007 Has anyone else ever had the problems with rivets sheering off in the flywheel? This is a ricky stator with the stronger magnets. I found the rivets when I pulled the flywheel off and one of the rivets gouged the inside of the flywheel. Quote

Snopczynski Posted May 3, 2007 Report Posted May 3, 2007 Are you sure the stator didnt come off the plate and cause that? I haven't seen a rs flywheel do that, I have one so does my cousin and 3 other guys I ride with. Quote

Screaming Yellow Zonker Posted May 3, 2007 Author Report Posted May 3, 2007 The bolts on the timing plate were tight. I had a hell of a time getting them off. I have only had the flywheel off one other time and I am using the correct puller. It is now time to call them up and complain. Quote
