overide tranny

I have an overide tranny and was wondering how to get neutral down is it the way its cut or do you change the gears around on the shafts just wondering if its something thats easy to do or not because im wanting to do it on my 18 mil if i could do it before next weekend

i know that they do weld on the shift star and im sure there is other shit that goes into it. I don't think it is something you would wanna try on your own.

Is your override 2-5? Do you leave the line in 2nd? If your answer is yes to these what we do is just remove 1st gear.

i have a 1-6 overide if its a matter of welding on the shift star and few other things it couldnt be anymore difficult than cutting the tranny and welding on the shift drum to get a overide
