ausbanshee Posted April 26, 2007 Report Posted April 26, 2007 How hard are they to remove??? thinking of more an appearance thing, trying to neaten up the bars a bit, and what the best way to COMPLETELY remove the key wiring? Quote

Lethaface Posted May 1, 2007 Report Posted May 1, 2007 (edited) I moved mine down to the fender crease..The stock wiring lenth is perfect and doesn't droop or anything like that.. Cleaned up the bars a bit as well.. I'm gonna add a water temp guage to the other side.. Looks better without all that cluttered stock crap.. Edited May 1, 2007 by Lethaface Quote

KaosBanshee44 Posted May 8, 2007 Report Posted May 8, 2007 Yeah that's what i'm thinking about doin just hard wire it and use the on off switch. Who needs a key anyway just one more thing to turn on and off when you don't wanna ride anymore. Quote
xcracer160 Posted May 26, 2007 Report Posted May 26, 2007 i relocated my stock keyswitch do down where the reverse switch is on a raptor, and did away with the plastic cover crapon the steerign stem. i also run dirtbike bars so i ahve the low and mean feel i also liek the tag t2"s also had a good feel on the shee. but i would strongly reccomend relocatign the key if i wouldnt have relocated it i probably wouldnt have a shee right now. cause my girlfriends blaster got stolen and i am sur emy shee woudl ahve been next. Yep, hide a key makes it just a little harder to steal the quad. You hard wire it, you just made it a little easier. Why help a criminal? Quote

I cut the key side of the harness, so you dont ruin the main side,. and being hardwired on the switch side you can just unplug it, and it wont run. Quote
