The banshee is gone  Lots of work and money went into it but I ended up selling it.

I went out and bought a 416ex 6 months before I sold the banshee then about 3 months ago I bought a King Quad.

Now I race the King Quad in XC and GP events. I never rode the banshee anymore so I sold it. It hurts a little but I needed the money for my King. Also thinking of selling the 400 but I will prally keep it for a good mx pratice quad.

Anyways I am realyl happy with the 4x4. I race the utility class in my local races and am 1st in points. I also race OPEN B in Hare scrambles and am 11th in points.

Sorry it had to go but It no longer was needed.....I wanted it for TT but no one ever invited quads so I gave up on it.

Here are a few pics of my King...I have added new tires, pipe, controller and A few other things

thanks for the great site though I enjoyed it

Sorry to see the Banshee go but you gotta do what you gotta do. I was just watching the Outdoor channel the other day and they had some infomercial on the new CanAm. They were running it in some of those races. That shit looks like fun. I would love to do that. Good luck and keep in touch with the HQ every once in a while.

Sorry to hear you went to the dark side, but...hey, gotta do what's right for you.

I imagine one day I'll get this speed thing out of me, and I'll be riding a 4X4 with big ol mud flaps, I push a button...and the damn thing near drives itself.

I've had a ton of fun on an ex-girls old Polaris 400....sportsman, TANK I tell ya...

i'll bet you really have to be in good shape to wrestle around a tank like that throughout a race  i've been looking into getting a new grizzly, but i'm not going to give up the shee just yet. i need something to poke around with my dad on his rubicon but i'm not ready to give up the speed yet either. i just have to convince the wife that i need a grizz, lol.

I would just enjoy watching a race like that. Anyone know if they have like that around here? There is a Hare Scramble series here, but they pussy out on most mud and rough stuff. It is good for the 2WD sport bikes though. The dirt bikes usually run the same course the next day and you know those would not do well in all that mud.

Do you mean Lance ? I don't race  , I work in thier pit crew. Lance is my cousin. Nyroc's site is the best for 4x4 guys.

Check out the burnout on the podium video. These XC Utility quads are a lot of fun.

yep the frame was amazing to see. I hope they got pictures because I didnt get any of the broken frame. We didnt even know the frame was broke till we got it home. The engine and skid plate were keeping that quad in one piece.

So we had the exhaust system come apart, one of the A-arms came loose and egged out its mounting hole, and the frame broke in 5 places..... and we won !!

I know of a guy racing a KingQuad in the GNCC series this year. He raced the first two races of the series on the KQ, and broke the frame on the second race. He switched to a Can-am for the last GNCC. Im pretty sure he DNF'ed at the first GNCC.

We used to have alot of axle problems with the KQ. We had two KingQuads. The first one was a red one and that one was always snapping rear axles. If my cousin got a little bit of air, on the landing he couldnt give it any gas till the quad landed and was rolling.... if he got on the gas too quick and hard right after landing.... he'd snap an axle from all the torque. We got Gorrilla axles to hook us up with some heavy duty axles and we snapped one of those. We snapped a rear axle during a 6 hour race and put in a new axle in the pits. Ran for a awhile and snapped it. Since it was our only spare axle we took it off the quad and welded it. Threw it back in the quad and finished the race on a welded axle. Took about 15 minutes to pull it, clean it up, weld it, reinstall it and get the rider back out on the track. My cousin broke a few axles racing District 6 hare scrambles.

For the 2006 season Suzuki sponsored us through TPC Powercenter and gave us a black '06 KQ to race. The black quad hasnt snapped an axle yet.
