questionzzz Posted April 19, 2007 Report Posted April 19, 2007 hey i have a spare parts banshee.. and ive been thinking of throwing a upper 600-100cc street bike engine in it.. r6 or an r1 or soemthing.. im guessing i would need pretty much the whole bike for parts to do the conversion.. has anyone here done it, or know someone who has.. is it gunna put me in deeper than i wanna be.. if anyone can give me some input let me know.. thanks Quote
locogato11283 Posted April 19, 2007 Report Posted April 19, 2007 not worth the time or effort in a banshee frame. too much frame modding to be done. ive done this type of conversion only in a raptor frame. you need something taller like a ds650 or craptor to do it right.. Quote
firefighterjosh Posted April 19, 2007 Report Posted April 19, 2007 I looked into this bought a 87 banshee for the project and a cbr 600 engine. I now have the banshee chassis for sale. too much frame work for me. If you decide to do this and if your from the norther indiana area I have a 87 rolling chassis sale and I also have a spare bent frame i was going to use for practice that I would give to ya Quote
