I think it's only fair that if they're going to advertise their shit on this site, then they should at minimum "un-censor" the word bansheehq on their site....or else they should keep their ads to themself. The whole reason bansheehq is censored over there is because they got their panties in a bunch when they found out a large chunk of their members came over here when PS wanted to charge 6 bucks a month to view it. locogato11283 Posted April 13, 2007 Report Share Posted April 13, 2007 i agree 100%...in fact i think lee has been avoiding a lot of issues on this site as of lately. maybe he doesnt care anymore, or whatever..i dont know the reason. bansheehq NEEDS moderators, if for nothing more than removing multiple posts or moving them to proper forums..hes been avoiding that for quite some time.. i think i even said something back then about the PS people comin over here, and im sure that was avoided too..its funny how they talk all that shit, but then run right over here when PS was charging.. i think lee needs to step up and say FUCK PLANETSAND ADVERTISING on BANSHEEHQ... whatever posts were made should be deleted immediately... also, as a paying member, i feel i help to keep the site open for myself and others. and thats fine by me. but i expect to see something out of my money.. if i dont have any say, or any influence over some issues, why should i be paying the membership??? i think some other members who are premium members should think about this also. we do pay for a reason...and to me, its not the fuckin arcade.. if PS wants to advertise, they need to be paying a BIG chunk of change. after all, this is a banshee based website.. It seems like there have been a lot of site issues and no resolutions....site timing out frequently, logging in 3 times a day even if you have it remember your password, no moderation, etc. I do remember Lee saying he has been working on setting up another forum, does that mean bansheehq isn't "important" any more? :shrug: But back to the topic, I don't think PS would ever "un-censor" the word bansheehq over there, so we might as well fight fire with fire and delete any topics related to planetsand....they ban members over there for advertising without paying...why should they be able to advertise for free over here? MILO Posted April 13, 2007 Report Share Posted April 13, 2007 i understand if there is some competition between the sites for membership, usage, and so on. but what's good for one should be good for the other. personally, i don't like planet sand. for one, i'm not a duner, and secondly the people here just seem to be much more friendly and willing to help out, even with the newbies. but if they are going to not allow anything 'hq' in their site, then yep, i agree, moderators should wipe out anything 'planetsand' on this site. especially since it seems that they look down on the hq anyway. if they don't respect the hq, then they have no right to be here, in any form. I have been on there when they are dogging HQ and they are not very friendly to new members. I am on HQ all day long, literally. The only reason I ever go on PS is if this site is down (which happens to be quite often lately). If they have a problem with someone just saying the name BansheeHQ then we should not support them whatsoever. Also, some sort of moderators would be nice.
