I have 3 theories, both I think contribute to the problem: 1- Not all the frames are the same from Yamaha, they all vary a little bit. 2- The frames get bent, and flex over time. 3- The holes on the skids werent 100% from the the manufacturer. I've done 4 belly skids, and none were easy, I wound up leaving some of the hangers off. Quote

MILO Posted April 10, 2007 Report Posted April 10, 2007 i don't remember having that much trouble with my dg's. the only clamps that were a pain were the rear ones, which don't fit perfectly over the frame, but pretty close. i've had it on and off several times and you just have to get it close, then work it around a little and it will line up pretty decent. the front of the plate does fit under the stock bumper, but all i did was loosen it up, put on the skid, and rebolt the bumper  Quote

350BANSHEE350 Posted April 11, 2007 Author Report Posted April 11, 2007 gytr is probably the most expensive because its a yamaha product so there wont be cheap Quote
