J-Madd Posted April 4, 2007 Report Posted April 4, 2007 It should have plenty of bottom end and midrange for sure. I'm not sure about the Dyna FS AND a timing plate though. Won't the ignition advance the timing also? I've never had an aftermarket ignition, but I'm sure someone will clear that up. Quote
raptorooster Posted April 5, 2007 Author Report Posted April 5, 2007 The ignition does run a different curve with more advance, I would have ran the plate at +7 or 8 degrees without it otherwise but it is a race fuel engine so with the compression and timing it should be good! Quote

bansheeyfz Posted April 5, 2007 Report Posted April 5, 2007 compared to my slightly stockish setup it should rip! Quote
firstbanshee Posted April 5, 2007 Report Posted April 5, 2007 Sounds like a real trail killer to me!! Quote
Bansh-eman Posted April 5, 2007 Report Posted April 5, 2007 you will be safe running the plate and the cdi... curve three is the most advanced of the 4 curves.... so at its max your running around 20 degrees if i recall correctly... but as you get intpo your higher rpms your cdi tapers back to gain some of the top end back Quote
350BANSHEE350 Posted April 5, 2007 Report Posted April 5, 2007 sounds like somethings going to brake (bike or you) peerfect Quote
