rjbestracing Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 have a 2001 banshee that i just bought, bike has fmfs, airbox is completly removed and i am running kehin aftermarket carbs with pod filters, bike also has cool head dont kno the size of domes bike also came with a dyna computer, i (believe) or was told that the bike has 0.20 over weisico pistons, bike has a 16t front sprocket, and the bike was clocked at top end speed of 81 mph WITH 22INCH TALL BACK TIRES, bike also has boost bottle and timing work done to it (advance) now does this seem like the top speed this bike should be getting with all this work done to it? now the million dollar question is why is it blowing gaskets only on one side? chevy7398 Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 your top speed depends on your gearing more than power, the more power you have the faster you get to your top speed, but once you run outta gear your done, you could have a hundred horsepower and a top speed of 60 its all in the gearing, of course you have to have enough power to top out whatever gear ratio you got Quote
pokeatyou2 Posted April 1, 2007 Report Posted April 1, 2007 what gasket are you talking about? more info Quote
