lowriderb Posted March 28, 2007 Report Posted March 28, 2007 (edited) it sounds like it locked up.. from where theres not telling, but if the bike was brand new and your ripping on it then it may be the top end.. first think i would do is pull the clutch cover off and see if its not something under there that is the problem.. lowriderb Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 like i said i would pull the clutch cover off and see if theres anything in there that is not right... the next thing i would do is pull the top end of and see whats what in there if there isnt anything under the clutch cover that is wrong.. im sure there are some pics of what everything is supposed to look like around here.. hotpony Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 probally 1 of 2 things. either a peice of clutch broke off and its jammed up, or something happend to the piston, maybe a ring came loose and its jammed between the piston and the hole going out of the exhaust. Quote
99Banshee Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 Sounds to me like you.. will be rebuilding it, You only had it an hour and a half.. Quote
06BaNsHeE Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 Since your going to prolly be rebuilding it.Now would be a good time to get your cylinders ported.good luck with the new shee Quote
FasterThanU90 Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 sumtimes 2 strokes just seize from heating and expanding there doesnt have to be anything wrong with the motor it will happen expecially if its new. Dirtbikes are alot easier to pop loose than a banshee id say loosen up the head so theres no compression and try to kick it over as hard as u can Quote

lowriderb Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 ok.. kickstarter locked up... take the head loose and kick it as hard as you can?? wtf kind of thinking is that?? you have no idea what you could be doing to some of the other parts in there if its something in a bind that you dont want screwed up any worse.. start with the easiest things first.. pull the side cover off and see if anything is not right.. then work towards the top end if nothing is found under there..
