I was under the impression, and I dont remember who told me this/when/why, that Trinity IV's are the one of the best banshee pipes. By all means correct me if i am wrong but facts would be nice. Not to mention I think they are the best looking too :)

I havent ran either pipes but in my personal opinion ( I have had work done by them) trinity sucks at anything they do or make

PM RNBrad on here. He runs the Trinity in-frame pipes and he really likes them. They are supposed to be a good pipe.

With regard to Trinity as a company, if you have to deal with them on the phone or have work done on your bike by them you may not wind up very happy. If you work with them in person, there are a few guys that aren't that bad. Every once in awhile they have some good machine shop folk and some good engine assembly people come through their operation. I don't think I have anyone from there currently in our machine shop, but there is atleast one guy over in our engine build shop from there. The guys that I have had that worked directly for me have been great, so I make the assumption that there has been some good work done by Trinity from time to time. With all that said, I have never had any work done for me by Trinity, the only business I have ever done with them has been buying parts from them in person. On several occaisions they have gone way above and beyond the call of duty to help me. My personal opinion of Trinity is that they are only as incompetent as their customers are and they certainly have alot of idiots with more money than brain cells doing business with them.

i am wanting a better pipe i have a fmf gnarly, i was looking at trinity stage 4 or the vito's fat bastards,

does anyone know which one is the best or does anyone have any imfo on the two pipes.

i have run both pipes and the fat bastard pipes i liked better , they pull harder longer and have a lot more bottom end and look awsome , very nice repackable silencers and bolt up very nice , so im going to say vitos fat bastard , i am not much on the over priced stage five pipes

I heard that there are a few good guys who know what they are doing in there so I must have gotten one of the guys who didnt know shit. As for trinity pipes, again I have never ran them but I have heard nothing but bad from people I know on them and I personally think as far as all pipes go, shearers or rockets look the best

Don't get me wrong, I have had several embarassing (on their part) phone conversations with Trinity amd I have heard one of the counter guys spewing incorrect information to a customer. There are a couple wuestionable people back in there machine shop as well. At the moment, I think there is only one counter guy that is worth much out of everyone there.

The cool thing about the Trinity pipes is that you can get them made out of stainless steel. They are pretty much the only people who do that for a Banshee.

Is your bike a bone stock port, or does it have other mods? You want Pipes that compliment your porting and riding style....

If you look at Vito's pipe, it is very similar to a Shearer pipe. Older Vito's pipes were damn near identical....

What kind of riding do you do, and what is done to your bike. Everyone is going to give you their opinion of their favorite pipe....but it's your bike, not theirs....

Keep the pipes you have, get SSTs, T5's or Trinity's if you have the coin. The IV's are pricey because they're stainless steel.

For trail you don't want a fat bastard, Shearer or CPI style pipe. You definitely don't want Rockets.

You should have said that you had an mx port in the first place. And I was talking to zpolencheck when I was said shearers or rockets look better, I wasnt telling him to run those pipes. Go with T5's you wont be dissapointed

Do you have a problem with fat people on the trails?

Stage IV pipes are damn near if not Identical to T-5's as far as performance goes in my opinion. I've used both and actually prefer the way the Stage IV bolts up better then the T-5's. Stage IV's use a O-ring slip fit at the joint rather then a silicone coupler with hose clamps. The silencers also mount differently, the stage IV doesn't use the rear hanger like the T-5's, instead they use a billter clamp that wraps around the silencer body and bolts to the frame. So I would suggest the Stage IV pipe but if you dont feel like spending the extra coin for the stainless and cleaner look then the T-5's would be the pipe. I dont think the Vito's would compliment your port job as well as the trinity or T-5's would.
